Brimstone
Guh! I tried. I really did. I almost got to the end of this book and I just couldn't take it any longer! The plot just jumped all over the place! 2/3 of the way through, and I realized that I had completely lost the thread of this book and I wasn't going to get it back. I had no idea what was going on any longer, I had no idea who the characters were (aside from Pendergast and Vincent), and frankly, Pendergast's mysterious nature is beginning to wear a little bit thin. Who the heck is this guy, and why is he so... odd? Crimony! This book was really confusing, and really unexciting, and I'm done banging my head against the wall trying to get through this.
