I listened to an audiobook version of The Land That Time Forgot, and it was narrated by
Brian Holsopple. Holsopple did a perfectly acceptable job of narrating this book; his style was unobtrusive, and he got the job done.
The Land That Time Forgot is written from a distinctly American/Anglo-centric point of view, so of course, that may not always sit comfortably alongside more modern sensibilities. While the adventure is good, and while the book is a perfectly non-demanding read, I must admit that I liked
Tarzan of the Apes much better. I tore through that book in just a few hours, and I remember going to bed with sore eyes!
