Flight - Sherman Alexie, Adam Beach I thought this book was fantastic. It goes to some very intense emotional places, though, and there was a lot of harm done to children in this book. I typically avoid books like that like the Plague. In this case, though, that harm was not meant as entertainment. It was central to the main character and to the story being told. Actually, there was a lot of harm done to adults in this story, too. Flight was very hard to read (or listen to, in my case), but it was worth it. A horrible, wonderful story filled with despair and salvation.
