The Stolen Cigar Case is a very funny short story parodying Sherlock Holmes mysteries. Our hero in this story is named Hemlock Jones, and while his powers of observation, deduction, and disguise are prodigious, Sherlock probably doesn't have to worry about Hemlock usurping his role as consultant for Scotland Yard.
