Sparkling Cyanide - Agatha Christie I really liked this [a:Agatha Christie|123715|Agatha Christie|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1321738793p2/123715.jpg] novel--I actually found myself savoring it, and I was totally immersed in the story and absorbed by the mystery. Only two things are keeping me from giving this a five star rating. First, Christie's works are often uncomplimentary to people of color. I know that's a product of the time in which she was active, but sometimes the vaguely (and sometimes overtly) racist remarks don't sit well with me. Secondly, I wasn't in love with the epiphany-like ending, and I thought the revelation of how the murders were committed was kind of clunky. Still, though, I loved the tone and feel of this story, and I enjoyed every second I spent reading it. Maybe one of my favorite Christie's!
