My niece and I read Mirandy and Brother Wind a couple of years ago, I guess. I enjoyed the book, thought it was fun and unique, but if I remember correctly, my niece found it to be a little confusing. As I've mentioned before, she's a very literal child, and the idea of dancing wind was just not something she could wrap her mind around. The illustrations were lovely.
