Perhaps even funnier than I Want My Hat Back
, and it has the moral, "crime doesn't pay." UPDATE:
I got This is Not My Hat as well as [b:I Want My Hat Back|11233988|I Want My Hat Back|Jon Klassen|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1327888784s/11233988.jpg|16160067] for my nephew for Christmas. I love This is Not My Hat, but you know, I don't think the boy was that impressed with it. His main problem with this story is that there was, "no ending page!" [a:Jon Klassen|3118934|Jon Klassen|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1320343513p2/3118934.jpg] leaves it up to the reader to figure out what happened to the little thief in this story. My nephew didn't want that left up to him, he wanted a clear pronouncement from the author as to exactly what happened here. I originally gave this five stars, but my nephew's dissatisfaction was such that I really had to knock a couple of stars off. He was still extremely pleased with I Want My Hat Back, though.
