3.5 stars. This is a pretty standard retelling of The Three Little Pigs, but setting this tale in this undersea world opened up new doors of creativity for this story, and that made it fun to read. The kids and I liked the various homes that the little fish created in their undersea world, and the fate of the Big Bad Shark was also unexpected, and certainly funnier than the fate of the Big Bad Wolf. My nephew really enjoys variations of The Three Little Pigs, and the aquatic setting, coupled with the vivid colors of the illustrations in this book really seemed to appeal to him.
