My nephew definitely appreciated that I had a Star Wars book for him. He desperately wants to like Star Wars, but he doesn't yet have the attention span to really piece the Star Wars universe together. While he liked the idea of this book, he tuned out about half way through--this is the same thing he does with the movies and cartoons, too, so I guess that's just par for the Star Wars course for him.The illustrations in this one aren't to my liking, but they didn't bother my nephew at all. He seemed to be more bugged that Darth Vader and his minions weren't in this one--he does love his good vs. evil stories, and the "bad guys" in this one were too subtle and understated for him.
