The Gruffalo is a cute story about a little mouse who, with some creative thinking, manages to make himself the most feared beast in the forest. The Gruffalo is a great read aloud story, as there are so many opportunities to perform various voices for the little ones.My niece and nephew liked this story, and they sat and listened to it with interest, but it probably isn't going to be a story they ask me to check out for them again. Too bad. I really liked it, and had a lot of fun reading it to them.
