I don't know what I was thinking. I know that my nephew really does not engage with alphabet books, and aside from Jerry Pallotta's works, my niece isn't really impressed with alphabet books either. Unfortunately, we got to M before I realized that this book was going nowhere for the kids. I asked my nephew if he didn't care for this story, and he said, "well, Amy, we've been reading this a lot at school." Well, of course he has been! He's in kindergarten, and let's face it, Dr. Seuss is a kindergarten staple. We had to abandon this one due to oversaturation and boredom.
