I have seen this episode of Doctor Who several times, but I've never read (or listened to) a Doctor Who book. I was working from home today, doing some repetitive database task, and I saw this audiobook of my husband's sitting on the desk. I grabbed it, popped it in, and discovered a pretty entertaining book!
Martin Jarvis did a great voice acting job on this book; he really brought Elisabeth Sladen's Sarah Jane Smith and John Pertwee's "The Third Doctor" to life for me. It wasn't the greatest book I've ever read, but it was fun, and it made all of that repetitive database entry go much faster than it would have otherwise. And plus, it gets me in the mood for tomorrow's trek to ComiCon!
